Clayton Andersen
was admitted to practice on April 11, 1977. He immediately began
his own law practice in Homedale, Idaho. Early in his career, he
was the elected prosecutor in Owyhee County for six (6) years and
in Valley County for four (4) years. He has been practicing law
in the Coeur d'Alene area since 1991. His practice experience includes
nearly every field in the general practice of law and litigation
of cases. He has participated in more than 100 criminal jury trials
and hundreds of civil trials. His general practice of law involves
the following areas: Business, landlord-tenant, real estate, divorce,
custody, child support, mediation, termination of parental rights,
adoption, guardianship, wills, trusts and probate. He is a member
of the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr. Andersen is a member of the Board for the Newman Lake Fire District.
He was a volunteer fireman for 12 years until his retirement in
2004. He and his wife, Cathy, have been married for 28 years and
have three adult children. He is an active outdoorsman and enjoys
riding his quarter horse, Irish, as well as his 4-wheeler and snowmobile.
