Gary
Amendola, Managing Partner of Amendola Andersen & Doty, PLLC,
received his Juris Doctorate in Law at Gonzaga University School
of Law in Spokane, Washington, and was first admitted to practice
law in 1979 in the State of Alaska. He later began practicing law
in the State of Idaho, and is admitted to practice before the United
States District Court of Idaho, the United States Supreme Court
and the United States Court of Appeals - Ninth Circuit. He began
his legal career as a partner in a law firm in Sitka, Alaska, which
was a general practice. In 1982, he began working as an Assistant
Attorney General for the State of Alaska, where he was involved
in various areas of law, including labor cases, child abuse and
neglect cases, environmental law and litigation relating to Alaska
Native sovereignty and charitable gaming. He moved to the Coeur
d’Alene area in 1995 where he has worked as a Kootenai County
Public Defender and in the general practice of law until joining
the Walker Rines & Amendola Law Firm, now Amendola Andersen
& Doty, PLLC, as a partner in 2001. He has handled numerous
criminal, civil and personal injury cases.
Mr. Amendola is a dedicated father
who is raising his son and daughter. He is very involved in their
academic and personal pursuits. He also enjoys playing golf.
