Accidents and Personal Injuries
During our lifetimes, many of us will be involved
in an accident or be injured in some manner, very often through no
fault of our own. Whether the accident or injury occurs in our
automobile, at our home or in a place of business it can cause
damage in many ways - physical, financial and emotional.
Amendola & Doty is experienced in
representing those who have been injured in accidents, and we can
assist you in maximizing recovery time and minimizing the damaging
effects that result from the incident. Very often, a consultation
with one of our experienced attorneys will provide an understanding
of the individual's legal rights resulting from accident or injury,
and the proper steps toward recovery and just
compensation.
Business and Corporate Law
Amendola & Doty represent many owners at
various times in their life of their business. When a business is
in the formative stage, we assist in choosing the proper legal form
- corporation, partnership or sole proprietorship. In addition to
the form, a new business must consider numerous other factors such
as its name, financing, business plan, licensing, permits, zoning
and employment law. The laws impacting these decisions are many and
diverse. Our experienced attorneys can help guide the new business
owner through the maze and confusion of business
formation.
Once the business begins to operate, its growth
and maturity bring additional challenges that will require expert
legal advice. Such issues as product liability suits, employee
hiring/termination problems, succession of ownership, and sale or
acquisition of the business are only a few of the potential areas
of business management that may benefit from the advice of
competent legal counsel. We provide such assistance.
Wills
Amendola & Doty recommend that everyone have
a will in order to assist his/her heirs in resolving financial and
other estate matters. If you already have a will but it was made
several years ago or your financial or family situation has
changed, you should consult with us to determine if your current
will should be updated or otherwise modified in some
way.
